Chapter 10.  At the Restaurant
   
Waiter : 어서 오십시오. 몇 분이지요?

Good evening. How many people?
   
Bill : 두 명이에요.
[Du myeong-ieyo.]
Two.
   
Waiter : 금연석을 원하십니까?
[Geumyeonseogeul wonhasimnikka?]
Non-smoking?
   
Bill : 네.
[Ne.]
Yes, please.
   
Waiter : 이쪽으로 앉으십시오.
[Ijjogeuro anjeusipsiyo.]
This way, please.

메뉴 여기 있습니다.

[Menyu yeogi isseumnida.]
Here is your menu.
   
Bill : 뭐가 맛있죠?
[Mwoga masitjjyo?]
What do you recommend?
   
Waiter : 불고기와 갈비가 맛있습니다. 외국 분들은 비빔밥도 좋아하세요.
[Bulgogiwa galbiga masisseumnida. Oeguk bundeureun bibimbaptto joahaseyo.]
I would like to recommend bulgogi and galbi. Foreigners enjoy bibimbap, also.
   
Bill : 그럼, 비빔밥을 주세요.

We’ll try bibimbap, then.

너무 맵지 않게 해 주세요. (짜지 않게 해 주세요.)
[Neomu maepjji anke hae juseyo. (jjaji anke hae juseyo.)]
Could you make it less spicy? Could you make it less salty?

그리고 포크 좀 주세요.

Oh, and could you bring us some forks?

Yes, we’ll do that for you.

후식은 무엇으로 하시겠습니까? 커피와 녹차가 있습니다.

And what would you like for dessert ? We have coffee and green tea.
   
Bill : 녹차로 주세요.
