Chapter 2.  Upon Arrival at the Airport

Immigration Officer : 여권을 보여 주세요. [Yeokkwoneul boyeo juseyo.] May I have your passport please ?     Bill : 여기 있습니다. [Yeogi isseumnida.] Here it is.     Immigration Officer : 한국에는 무슨 일로 오셨습니까? [Han-gugeneun museun illo osyeosseumnikka?] What is the purpose of your visit ?     Bill : 관광하러 왔어요. [Gwan-gwang-hareo wasseoyo.] I am here for a tour. 일 때문에 왔어요. [Il ttaemune wasseoyo.] I am here for work.     Immigration Officer : 직업이 무엇입니까? [Jigeobi mueosimnikka?] What is your job?     Bill : 회사원입니다. [Hoesawonimnida.] I am a company employee.     Immigration Officer : 한국에 처음 오셨습니까? [Han-guge cheo-eum osseyosseumnikka?] Is this your first visit to Korea ?     Bill : 네, 그렇습니다. [Ne, geureosseumnida.] Yes it is. 아니오, 두 번쨉니다. (두 번째입니다.) [Anio, dubeonjjaemnida.] No, this is my second time.     Immigration Officer : 한국에 언제까지 계실 겁니까? [Han-guge eonjekkaji gyesilkkeomnikka?] How long will you stay in Korea, Bill ?     Bill : 일주일 있을 겁니다. [ Iljjuil isseulkkeomnida.] I'll be staying for a week.
