The Wonder Girls come to Seattle and blow everyone away
The Wonder Girls were met with screaming fans July 30th at their concert at Moore Theatre in Seattle.
Hundreds of people gathered with big signs proclaiming, “We love you, Wonder Girls!”, and “We want nobody but you!”. There was so much shouting and excitement that it was difficult to even hear the person next to you speaking.
The majority of the fans were students, who wore bright neon glow necklaces and accessories, pushing to get as close to the stage as possible and yelling in Korean. There was a huge advertising campaign all throughout the International District of Chinatown before the event, their poster could be seen at every teen hangout spot and cafe.
The last time the Wonder Girls performed in Seattle, they were openers for the Jonas Brothers, but this time they were the headliners. They blew the crowd away with their famous hits “Nobody”, “Tell Me”, and covers like “Boom Boom Pow” from the Black Eyed Peas and Destiny Child’s “Survivor”.
The concert was almost canceled because of the recent death of Sun’s father. The shows in Hawaii were canceled, but they were still able to perform in Vancouver and Seattle.
The girls will now be heading towards California and the Midwest.
